ENTRY DEADLINE: Entries must be received no later than Friday, July 16, 1999. All Track & Field and Multi-Events forms are to be sent to the appropriate addresses below. It is important that all forms be completed and returned with the entry fee. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE DEADLINE DATE OR YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO COMPETE. NO EXCEPTIONS! BOTH COPIES OF THE ENTRY FORM MUST BE RETURNED TO THE 1999 AAU JUNIOR OLYMPIC GAMES OFFICE. DO NOT FOR ANY REASON KEEP EITHER COPY!
The Local Organizing Committee has spent many hours planning and preparing for this event. In order to make it a great success, we are asking for your cooperation. It is the responsibility of the coach, designated person of the club, or athlete to return ALL the necessary monies and completed forms by the deadline date. It is not the responsibility of the LOC or the AAU to make sure all are completed, ONLY TO ACCEPT OR REJECT ENTRY (S) BASED ON DOCUMENTS SUBMITTED.
$26.00 per athlete for Track & Field regardless of the number of events
No personal checks will be accepted. All entry fees must be in the form of either a cashier's check or money order made payable to the 1999 AAU Junior Olympic Games. Please do not send cash. If competing in both multi-events and track & field two separate entry fees of $26.00 each must be submitted along with the appropriate entry forms.
RELAY ENTRY FORMS MAY NOT HAVE ADDITIONS OR REPLACEMENTS AFTER BEING SUBMITTED TO THE NATIONAL MEET.
Multi-Events: The top four-(4) finishers from each AAU Regional Championships will qualify to compete. All others, in addition to the top four, who meet the minimum point standards outlined immediately below at their Regional Championship, will qualify.

a. In the long jump, shot put, discus throw, and the javelin throw, each competitor shall be allowed three (3) trials only.
b. In running events and hurdles, a competitor shall be disqualified in any event in which he or she has made three (3) false starts.
NOTE: Check-in days will vary depending on events entered please refer to the event schedule. Athlete/Coaches registration will take place at the Cleveland Convention Center. For specific hours that the athlete check-in will be open please see times and dates listed below. Athletes must check-in at the Cleveland Convention Center (at the latest) the night prior to the first day of his/her competition.
